Texture is born
Having worked with Roisin Cross Silks for the past 6 years, Ann recognised a need for fine fabrics other than silk to be brought to the Irish market. After doing extensive research with Italian mills she has set up a fabric shop and design studio called Texture in Monkstown, Co. Dublin, importing exclusively, a wonderful selection of Italian fabrics, including wools, viscose jerseys, silk prints, cottons, silks and linens, in addition to wool/silk, silk/linen and silk/cotton mixes. She also stocks some French laces.
The European brands, particularly Italian, is synonymous with superior quality and the fabrics at Texture will not fail to delight. With A. Rubanesque having closed it’s doors in 2015, Texture is now supplying all the glorious ribbons and trimmings that were formerly on offer there. Beautiful, beaded Spanish buttons, ornament snap closings and statement, jewellery style zips are also on offer.
The fabric shop also stocks designer fabrics by Ungaro, Zegna and Armani.
Texture by Ann Flavin offers a unique design and make up service so customers have the choice of simply buying luxury fabrics and accessories in store or having a bespoke outfit designed and made exclusively for them.
Opened in January of 2016, Texture by Ann Flavin is quickly becoming synonymous with quality and luxury, both for the fabrics on offer at the fabric shop and also the chic and eye catching designs by the extremely gifted Ann Flavin.
